Emma serves as board treasurer at the Mongolian School of Colorado, overseeing the accounting functions and reporting. Her other community engagement includes the finance committee, the Colorado Communities of Color Loan Fund advisory committee at the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado, and volunteering at Jewish Family Service.
Emma currently works as the controller at Rose Community Foundation and is primarily responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Foundation’s financial records. Before entering the nonprofit world, she held various positions in accounting and management in the for-profit sector. While working full-time, she also helped run her family business with her husband.
Emma received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Columbia College. In addition, she recently completed the Impact Denver leadership program and certificate programs from Cornell University and Harvard Business School Online.
