Duren is the founder of the Mongolian School of Colorado and has served in many capacities since. Currently serves as the VP of Language and Cultural Affairs, working closely with our teachers and families. Her passion is to contribute to keeping our language, culture, traditions, and nomadic culture alive. In addition to founding the MSCC in 2006, she has spent the last 23 years working with young children in Colorado, in the DPS and Jeffco School systems as an assistant teacher, lead teacher, Assistant Director, and backup Program Director at the Children's House Compass Montessori. She is a lifelong learner. Duren received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in law from Mongolian National University, a Master's in Public Administration from the CU Denver Graduate School of Public Affairs, and a Director Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Most recently she completed the Buell Leadership Program at the CU School of Education in 2022.
